Vacuum treatment.

Roll-to-roll vacuum plasma treatment equipment, using a vacuum pump to place the confined space in a state of absolute vacuum. Once the complete absence of gas is achieved, nitrogen, oxygen, argon or other gases are artificially introduced. With the presence of these specific gases, a high voltage discharge is used to generate the plasma, thus improving the treatment conditions and efficiency.

SP - Sectors of application.

The SP system has many application sectors. The system can be customized according to the needs of the customer's specifications:

- Automobile

- electronics

- Plastic and rubber industry

- Medical.

Explanation - plasma treatment.

Plasma is a gas that is excited to the point of ionization, and when it reaches a certain degree of ionization, it becomes conductive. In this state, the ionized gas adopts a collective behavior, where the motion of each charged particle influences the surrounding charged particles and is also constrained by them. Due to the overall behavior of the ionized gas, which is electrically neutral – that is, the number of positive and negative charges is equal – this gaseous state is called the plasma state. Due to its unique behavior, totally different from the solid, liquid and gaseous states, it is considered the fourth state of matter.

Corona - plasma difference

Corona:

In corona treatment, an electrical discharge, often referred to as a "cold flame," is formed between two high-voltage electrodes, visible at the end of the treatment head.

Plasma:

Plasma treatment, on the other hand, focuses more energy on a smaller surface area. Unlike corona treatment, it does not have an apparent electrode on the treatment head. Plasma is a gas with a high concentration of ions, i.e. atoms whose electrical balance has been modified, which gives it electrical conductivity. This gas thus makes it possible to transport the high voltage charge and induce a more intense surface oxidation than that obtained by corona treatment. The greater the agitation of the atoms, the more ions are produced, which increases the available energy and the oxidation effect. The gases used can include air, argon, and other specific gases depending on the application.
