Corona treatment - operating principle
Corona treatment uses a high-frequency electrical discharge to change the molecular structure of a material's surface, increasing its surface tension DYNE and improving its adhesion to inks, varnishes and adhesives. This process is commonly used in plastic film printing, varnish coating on packaging and adhesive assembly in the automotive industry.
